Arius

Hi, my name is Arius. I rediscovered my passion for photography by way of the French Quarter back in 2016. Everything from the notes of a saxophone player off Frenchmen Street, to the cajun crayfish crawling from the Mississippi River spoke to my heart, and I began capturing it with my camera.  

In 2017, I moved back to Texas. The city of Austin spoke to me, again, and I listened with my heart. Through my lens, I captured the brush stroke of a shoe shiner at Antone’s and the live music that would flood from Gary Clark, Jr’s guitar onto 5th street. I focused my artistic eye to the fashion world, as well, photographing many outdoor portrait shoots off Lady Bird Lake.
 
Over the past few years, I’ve also spent a good portion of my time traveling and photographing across the United States. I’ve wandered down the rocky coast of Portland into San Francisco Bay, and up through the winding mountains of the Wyoming Teton range, camera and tow. When home, in the wonderful city of Austin, I enjoy capturing timeless candid moments shared by both locals and visitors reminiscent of my travels.
