About me
Aloha! Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager. I was born and raised in Poland. I moved to New York City in my 20s to pursue a business degree. After 14 years of living a busy city life, I was ready for a change. I came to the island of Hawai'i as a volunteer and I never left. I fell in love in the district of Puna, volcano goddess Pele, and hawaiian culture. Soon after I was hired as a volunteer coordinator at Kalani Honua, a retreat center and a community. I reconnected with my passion for photography documenting every event and volunteer’s life.
In May 2018 Kīlauea erupted showing it’s power of destruction and creation. Kalani Honua was closed; I lost my job and my home. Inspired by volcanic activity I wanted to create more, focus on my passion for photography and start a new chapter in my life.
I love natural light photography capturing authentic emotions and feelings. My favorite are close-up photos which can tell a powerful story in a single shot. I shoot only on the east side of the island.
