Throughout this city of 2,500 years of history you’ll be immersed in antiquity and mythology. Admire paintings and sculptures by masters like Bernini and Michelangelo, explore the historic center with its ancient wonders of the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Forum, or just relax in the beautiful Borghese Gardens.
Rome offers its visitors a taste of the good life, or dolce vita.
You can sit and watch the world passby from the Spanish Steps, admire flower stalls in Campo de’Fiori, sip espresso or eat pizza romana in Piazza Navona, or dress up and go on the evening passeggiata with the locals.

Even if you don’t visit the Vatican Museum or Sistine Chapel (which you absolutely should!), simply wander into St. Peter’s Square and marvel at the outside the world’s largest church, St. Peter’s Basilica.
